2026 RDX tweaked the ventilated / heated seats from previous years
Hey guys!
I’ve owned a 2019, 2013, and now a 2026 RDX. As you can see, I really like this car. During one of my 2019 RDX stints in the shop, I had a loaner MDX. One of the features I particularly appreciated about this loaner was that the seat’s automatic function would only activate the fan or heater if someone was seated in it. My 2019 and 2023 RDX models never had this basic functionality, but it seems like they quietly added it for either the 2025 or 2026 model years. The seat’s fan will remain off unless someone is seated in it, which is a small but fantastic quality-of-life improvement.
Does anyone know of any other minor adjustments or features that were quitely introduced for the last two model years? Thanks!

I really like the re-designed center console. I don't use wireless charging, so it's always turned off, but I love the big empty rubberized platform it has and the re-positioned cupholders.
I THINK they made minor tweaks in the infotainment's software, but I can't say for sure. I feel like the ambient light settings didn't have a dedicated home screen app before, just the option buried in settings.
