2023s
Has anyone ordered a 23? Or have any news on when they'll be getting to dealer lots? I need to buy something soon and I'm not seeing many 22's in the color trim combos I'm looking for. I haven't seen any real news 23 production other than a listing of on-order 23s and build dates at 1 dealer.

I believe the 2023 RDX's went into production about 2 weeks ago. I placed an order for one about 3-5 weeks ago (with a $1,000 deposit) and I supposedly it will be built next week (November 14-18).

That's good info, I'll have to see if I can timing on how long I'd have to wait if I ordered one. I'd rather not have to buy a 22 and have it shipped but, I don't want to wait too long with my current vehicle.

I wasn't able to find a '22 that worked so I put a deposit down on a '23. It was initially supposed to arrive in January but they let me know that it should be arriving at the dealer in a week or 2.
For anyone who's already gotten a '23, was the $1000 Loyalty Appreciation incentive available? It says it is for '22s on the Acura website but no mention of the '23s.
Where can I find discounted accessories? I've use Bernardi in the past but their prices aren't discounted now. I did find a site called oemacuraparts.com, any others that I missed?
Who is selling discounted extended warranties? I got the one for my current MDX from Bernardi, are they still selling them at a discount? Any others?

100% agree with this - I can also recommend Curry Acura in NY as an online dealer being price competitive - https://www.curryacuraparts.com/
In term of warranties - I, too have used Bernardi, but it has been awhile since doing so. There was a time when other Azine members were raving about Bob Leab @ Hyannis Honda for untouchable warranty pricing. I can't speak from personal experience, but here is one thread - https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rdx-...rranty-881675/
Search "Bob Leab Hyannis Honda Acurazine and you will find others.
Let us know how you make out with accessory pricing and also warranty pricing and from who -

Just an FYI, we got the 4 yr extended on our 2019 after input here (Florida dealer?), but what we did was got the much better price online, took it to our local dealer (Reno), and they matched it (after giving much higher price). If you sell your RDX, the extended warranty is transferrable, but you have to pay something ($25...$50?) to your "local dealer", which I assume is the dealer you actually bought the warranty from...not just any dealer. I thought it would be easier to just deal with my 'local dealer' to get that done instead of someone in Florida.

The 2023s come with complimentary 2 year service so not sure how much value extended service plans add now.

Those market adjusted price have dealers starting at 58K, which is a non starter.

I'm looking for an extended warranty, not an extended service plan. I'll take the 2 yr service plan since it's free but I wouldn't add anything to it.
I was quoted MSRP for my '23. I hate even doing that but at this point I don't have much choice. That's why I was wondering if anyone was able to get the $1000 loyalty incentive. It'll make me feel a little better, I guess. I'll post the details when I get the car, should be in late this week or next week.
OEMparts def looks like the place to get discounted accessories and I'm going to email Hyannis and Curry to get warranty prices.

MSRP is not bad. Local dealer here still asks for $2K over, but that's because there's too much demand from folks with too much money.
I think we are in a new environment now and deals of below MSRP may never come back again. I know there are people that talk about the economy going south, but I don't believe that will happen and car makers have very significantly lowered production. So demand is going to outstrip supply unless we enter an economic depression very suddenly, which again I highly doubt.
Lexus NX hybrid, which is what I'm in the market for, still going for $5K over MSRP. Since the tax law for plug-ins changed, they dropped the markup on those from $10K to $5K. I am on the interest list with 4 dealers since August and no response. I'm the one that keeps calling them to check and always am told that even what shows on their website in weird color combinations is not actually available.
Why do you care about extended warranty now? Why not delay till you're nearly out of factory warranty? Are you trying to front run inflation?
Keep in mind extended warranty does not cover a lot of the electronics. I bought one for mine since I'm not able to get my next car yet. I bought from Curry Acura. Hyannis wouldn't sell to California. The process with Curry was pretty painless. Once the payment is made, the paperwork comes from Acura.

In this new environment, I'm definitely (relatively) happy getting it at msrp. The loyalty discount would be nice though. No one's replied saying they got it yet but, doesn't hurt to ask...
I def don't need to get the extended warranty now, I really want to get some prices to see if they'll match it when I do the deal on the car. If not, I'll just get it at some point from someone else.

I just took delivery of my new 2023 RDX (Tech Package) in Liquid Carbon Metallic. I am 110% happy with my purchase since I am upgrading from my 2004 TL. I just had a clear bra installed so now I am set for many, many happy miles of driving!

You have excellent taste in colors. Mind sharing the details on your deal? Were you able to get the Loyalty or APR incentives?

There are new desirable trims like A-Spec Advance for those that want to pay that much, but in terms of Tech trim, I didn't see much difference.
If it's better put together in terms of rattles that would be a plus. Also noticed that they now have the rear camera washer on the Tech trim as well which is a plus.
Many of the negatives with the 19 that I have remain, e.g. the shiny trim in the dash which reflects sunlight, shiny trim on steering which reflects sunlight, touchpad infotainment, poor rear visibility, parking sensors don't cover sides of the bumper, flattish padding in the seat pan which doesn't really help with back comfort (look to Tesla or Lexus NX for excellent padding), poor mpg, and so on.

I had a 22 as a loaner, and if I didn't know better, aside from the lack of 1 mph markers on the speedometer, I might not have been able to tell the difference on the inside.

I bought my 2022 Liquid Carbon Tech from Radley in Fairfax VA back in April and the team was pleasant to deal with and on the whole it was a quality experience. NO markups even at the height of the madness. Don't get suckered into the maintenance and warranty plans they'll inevitably try to sell you. They also did a GREAT job finding me financing way better than my bank would offer. Way, way better. My sales guy was Brian Walsh.

Unless the cost structure changed, dealer mark up on an extended warranty is about 100%. They can sell it for a little more than half-price and still make some money. With regard to dealers selling at MSRP, the same demand/supply relationship that allows that to happen also forces dealers to pay a lot for our trades. When I bought my 2021 RDX at dealer cost, I also had to accept the low end of my car’s trade-in value. I suspect the trading difference would be close to today’s inflated numbers.
