2023?

Any gossip or predictions for what this will bring? Also, with the death of the NSX, are PMC models "still a thing" or is that done?

I have been told production will start in October. Rollover style and features from 2022 with 3 years complimentary AcuraLink and Acura Care Maintenance (2 years/24,000 miles) included. There will also be a price increase but nobody seems to know how much of a bump it will be. I sold my 2022 MDX last week so I am trying to hold out for a 2023, but if the lease deals stay as bad as they are on the 2022, I may have to divorce Honda/Acura (after 20 years) for now and come back later.

Why did you sell your 22 MDX? I can’t imagine there will be changes for 23.

It was just way too big for me to handle-not as nimble as my 2019.I don't need a 3 row SUV anymore. I am way more comfortable in the RDX. It has plenty of room for me. The residual is bad on the 2022 for a lease. My salesman said the 2023 will have a higher residual so the lease payment will be lower. Plus, I will get AcuraLink and Acura Care. But, interest rates and lease details may keep me from getting one.

Don't believe everything your sales person tells you. If you can find a RDX on the lot you like (or coming in soon), try to make the deal NOW. Used car values are falling - I know this well, as 4 months ago my RDX was worth $46.5k - today the highest bid was $41k and Carvana was $39.6k. As used + repo vehicles fill up the lots and interest rates climb - your used vehicle will be worth less.

I can concur and I am in the market so have a close eye on things and used car values are dropping like a rock here in the Philly area.

Thanks for the info! I am so glad I was able to sell my MDX to Autonation Honda for a pretty decent price. Other dealers quoted me anywhere from $1500-$3000 less than this offer. They matched another Acura dealer 3 hours away. I can't bring myself to pay $9000 out of pocket to have a $770 payment on a 10k/year lease. Maybe I am being ridiculous and that is a going rate for a lease-especially an Aspec Advance.

It’s a bad time to lease right now.
