2022 door lock issues?!
I'm having a bad time with my door locks, I'm thinking I may have to bring it in to service. I have it set to unlock all doors when I put my finger over the door handle. Most of the time it only unlocks the driver door, then I have to put my finger on it again multiple times until the back doors unlock, sometimes I can't even get it to unlock the back doors. Other times it doesn't unlock any door at all. Worst was one time when my car was started remotely, had the key in my pocket and the door refused to open, even taking the fob out and pressing the unlock button didn't work! I had to go into Acuralink and stop the car remotely for it to work.
Anyone else? Was hoping it would be an easy fix and not having to drop the car off.

I have noticed in the past few days mine is not unlocking anything via the touching the door handle process despite multiple try's. I was going to look at the settings on the infotainment screen and see if there was a setting that I changed that is preventing them from unlocking.

Make sure any part of your hand is not touching the 'three bars' on the top right of the door handle.
Those are to lock the door(s), so if you are holding the door handle to open it, but toughing those 'bars' simultaneously, it will confuse the system, and cause those erratic responses.

"not touching the 'three bars"
Or it could just be my stupidity in touching the three bars when trying to unlock it. That was the problem...or 'I' was the problem. Works fine.....thanks Roger23

With the owners manual being 659 pages long (2020 model) and the Navigation manual being 91 pages long, it's easy to miss something. It's a shame, because unless an owner reads everyone of those pages, he will never be aware of some of the useful things these vehicles are capable of.
There was a thread on Acurazine where owners listed some of the most useful features they found. I found that thread quite useful.
Anyway, for future reference, here is the information for locking and unlocking the doors.

I hear you on the 60's, I'm working through those rapidly myself. But enjoy your stay in this bracket, I hear the 70's are even worst. LOL

I experienced something similar today on my new 2022 RDX Aspec/Advance model. Here is what happened, I remote started the car using the remote. After about 5 min I went to get in the car and the doors would not unlock. I was being careful not to touch those 3 bars as well. When I would touch the doors, I would hear continuous beeps. Tried manually unlocking with the remote, nothing. I had to eventually using the Acuralink app shut down the engine and unlock the doors that way. Has anyone run into anything like this?

Yes they did the entire door handle. I had the same exact thing happen to me, car was on remote start from the acuralink app and I could not open it using the door handle, I even tried pressing the fob and it still wouldn't open. Like you, I had to go into the app and force the car off, then force the doors to unlock. Very weird, but haven't had any issues yet since getting the new door handle.
