Did a ambient light mod on a 2021Aspec, control lights thru app on phone,
Currently powers on thru cigarette lighter, but would like to make it so that it turns on when the headlight turns on.

Do you mind sharing which brand it is? How did you hide the wires going into the light stripes?

Pretty decent shipping (2-3 weeks) to Canada.

The wire is "optic fibre"

Ran 3 of the wires from the bottom ( there's a nice big gap for all the wires to get thru) and out where the start button wire is.






There's a channel to pass wires thru to the other side. Kept one wire for the left side and pulled out the other 2 wires thru the channel for right side and for the vent light as well.






For the third led wire, i had to remove this trim piece(comes off pretty easily. Start from the left side and give it a nice little tug, and work ur way around it) i had to first feed the wire thru and connect it to the optical connector, and then put the trim piece back with the led stirp hanging and then slowly inserted the strip back into the little slot for a nice clean setup.



I used only 3 of the 6 wires, the rest of the unused wires are hidden in the kick panel on the driver side, just tucked in, with the led module.

Make sure to connect the led strip to the optical cable after the wires have been run thru or else the strip might snap. But don't worry if it does, cause it comes with a a few extra strips.
Hope this all makes sense. My editing skills are pretty shit.
