2021 RDX w/ 2022 Front Bumper
I have a 2021 SH-AWD with a cracked front bumper that needs to be replaced. I've been comparing the 2021 and 2022 bumpers and the fit looks to be identical. Is this possible and/or has anyone tried this, seen it, done it?

i've saw someone on instagram that swapped over. Seems like a direct fit.

I’m pretty sure it will work. How much is a new 22’ bumper?

I will be trying this retrofit. As I mentioned, I was involved in a slight fender bender, and I would love to bring my MY ‘20 up to the MY ’22 look, which as you know is a different bumper facia, and I tend to like the cleaner look better. I have ordered a used bumper and will try the fit up myself before bringing it to my body shop for touch up. I will keep the forum posted

If you compare & contrast the underlying structural components in the red boxes, on the graphics below for the 20 & 22 RDX, they all look relatively the same between the two model years.:dunno: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...f25c699791.png https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...d4d2348275.png |

Yes… in addition, the front corner panels are the same. The only thing that worries me, is the headlights have different part numbers, and also the pentagon grille and chrome surround. The grille and chrome finish can be affordably purchased, but the headlights :frown:. Hopefully the are the same shape…. I know they have different shading in them, so hopefully that’s all the differences are….
Let you know soon !! I'm thinking you don't have much to 'sweat' with your 'swap' project for either the headlights or grilles. The only difference is the 'suffix' of the headlight part number between the 20 & 22 RDX. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...a6a885701b.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...a34fa7284b.jpg Same thing with the grilles: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...7b2b543d1b.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...0d61d55a73.jpg Acura / Honda part numbers, from what I understand are: 1) the 'prefix' indicates what the part is, like a headlight. It may change slightly for left & right side. 2) the 'root' indicates what kind of car it fits. 3) the 'suffix' tells detail about the part itself. Thanks for the info @zeta …. This makes things promising
