2020 rdx sh-awd advance deal
Past owner of a TL eith literally zero issues for 90k miles. Looking at a similar reliable vehicle and interested in the 2020 rdx sh-awd with advance pkg. Found one with 20k miles, clean title and price of $35k. Is this a good deal? Was reading some original threads on 2020 rdx being bought new for $42k (shawd with advance) which makes it look like not much depreciation or maybe market is still inflated?
Also, it is a lease return - called the dealership that serviced it and they gave me the service history verbally - 1. some issue with heads up display being distorted was fixed 2. Some issue with door knob was fixed 3. Couple of diagnostic checks done. When i asked for what, they said driver complained the car shifted automatically into sport+ mode. They didn't specify what was done to resolve it.
is this any red flag on the transmission or anything? Comes with a 2year powertrain warranty.

The factory powertrain warranty is 6yr/70k, so I'm not sure what extra you're getting. Assuming it was bought in late 2019, there's still > 2 years left on the factory powertrain warranty.
In terms of how good of a deal this is --
Very hard to say because car prices are so dynamic right now. Off the cuff, I'd say it looks good. My car (2019 Tech AWD ~35k miles) was valued at 33k 6 months ago at Carmax. But used car prices have cratered since then. And the one you're evaluating is a 2020, has fewer miles, and is the top trim. Can you check Carmax to see what they are asking for similar cars?
I too have an unresolved issue with my transmission. It got stuck one time and wouldn't shift up. Dealer was unable to find anything wrong.
Acura hasn't been doing too good in terms of reliability ratings recently (Consumer Reports and JD Power).
