2019 RDX Factory Tint

They won’t match the rear because the front doors and windshield have green factory colored glass. The darker you go and less reflective the less noticeable it will be. Depending upon how much you want to get hassled determines how dark you may go. Tinting the from with Llumar Airblue greatly reduces heat but does have a blue color which throws another color into the green and grey mix. Plus it is super easy to pick out due to the ceramic’s reflectivity. Tint prices vary by location and quality.

We put a light meter on the rear windows of my (2019 RDX) Acura factory tinted glass on the back windows and it was 17% , pretty dark. In my state 30% on the front is the legal limit. I could have gone with 15% llumar ceramic to match perfect, but stayed legal. I went with 30% lumar ceramic on the front windows, and got a 5% 5 inch glare strip across the top of the windshield. I think it will blend well with the 30% and 20% (which read 17%) that Acura tinted the glass with in the rear windows and back window. I will post a picture when i can.
Thanks for the heads up about the lumar Air blue. I was going to put that film inside the rear and back glass for heat reduction, but do not want a bluish color....

The tint shop should be able to match they have tint meters/readers. However you may want to check with your state. I am in Maryland and front driver and passenger windows cannot be darker than 35%. So that is what I went with, maybe even a bit lighter because the rear window tints are so dark that it would make the tints look darker. I don't want the hassle of being pulled over by some cop trying to make a quota and having to dispute it later on, even if I am legally right. I have the A-Spec so that may be more of an enticement for a cop looking for a quota to pull over.
