do you folks like the heavy chrome? Seems a bridge too far so to speak to me.
I assume you are referring to the chrome strip above the rocker panel? It's not my favorite, but I don't think it's awful. Like many sedans, these crossovers are all starting to look alike so I think this was an effort to set the RDX apart a bit.
Here are the charts for reference. Kinda surprised Lunar Silver isn't available with red interior on the A-Spec, seems like it should be a standard color combo. Lunar Silver and Espresso does seem a bit odd. Also Modern Steel A-Spec available with red interior only and not black
when hasn’t Acura screwed up Silver on a new model,either they don’t offer pure sliver (remember palladium metallic) or they don’t offer it with an ebony interior. Very frustrating how Acura screws over Silver which is in the top 4 of colors sold. The RLX for 18 only has light gray interior with Silver esxterior. At lease with RDX they seem to be headed in right direction

I really like the White with Espresso interior - looks very sharp. It also seems that the contrast stitching is less pronounced on the Espresso - can anyone confirm from in person viewing?
Also, white is one of the few colors that doesn't command the $400 paint surcharge!
I think that’s a sharp combination too. I can’t understand why the only other color Expresso is used in is silver. Maybe it’s ok in person but it sounds awful. In black or blue...would have been sharp. BMW has those combinations.
I asked someone to let me know about the piping on the Adv. and they reported back that it was black. Nice. Nothing was said about the stitching, hopefully it too would be black. I hope someone can confirm for us.
For Espresso interior in Tech and Base trims, stitching is black ( or maybe a very dark grey, if we're being picky ). And I would say it doesn't stand out as much as the contrast stitching for other colors.
My preference would be brushed aluminum or textured black vs. chrome or hi-gloss black.
I sure prefer those tech wheels vs. Advance.
I like burl walnut for wood trim, I am concerned that metallic trim might throw glare. If the choice is olive or metallic, I don’t know, I would have to see it on a sunny day.
