2019 Acura RDX Accessory Installation Instructions
#81
The Advance comes with regular key fobs, the same as the other packages. I double checked Acura's website and didn't see the remote start listed under the Advance package, but I feel like I saw it on the spec sheet that was leaked a few days before the launch, is that where you saw it?

Just got my RDX Aspec Today with hitch installed. I was hoping it looked good and it does... but is not a 2 inch. 1.25 from factory.

Advance Metal Rear Tailgate Garnish vs. Accessory Rear Panel Protector
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Metal Rear Tailgate Garnish on the Advance Trim (Listed as a feature of the Advance) vs. the optional Accessory called the Rear Panel Protector?
I understand what the Rear Panel Protector is from the Acura website. However, is the Metal Rear Tailgate Garnish the same thing?? I can't seem to find an image of it or a description.
The Rear Panel Protectors help prevent scratches when loading and unloading. They offer an added premium touch to the cargo area of your RDX.

- Constructed of brushed stainless steel
- Tested for extreme temperatures

Thanks! ...and you are right. They are the same thing. I spoke to the dealer here in Chicago who sold it to me (on the Advance) and they are the same thing. Funny they aren't named the same. I ended up swapping out that accessory charge for a set of splash guards.

Instead of the applique: 2019 Acura RDX Rear Bumper Appliques - With Tips (Revised 8/13/2019), is there an OEM plastic bumper protector such as the following. My wife is really not being careful when she hauls around stuff.

Love that first one, wish i could find something like that

New Acura 2020 RDX Buyer
Hi All,
I just bought 2020 RDX with tech package. I found this site and there is so much information here for acura owners. I have couple of questions, they might be silly questions but any help is appreciated
1. I am thinking of installing roof rails(chrome) to my black acura rdx. I found one here. Will this come with TOrX caps and nuts or will i have to buy them sepratly
2. Also i read that we have trial version of accura link app available for remote starter. I dint get remote starter kit for my car. Do i need to get the remote starter kit installed to use the app? or will it work anyways.

Actually I am planning to start the trial version of Acura link after 3 months, that's when I would need it the most. Will the trial version be valid for six months from the time i activate it, or its valid for six months from the time of purchase.

i used the trial till it ran out. but then your paying a monthly fee to use the app. thats why i just ended up with the installed remote start. if your getting abroof rack it should come with everything as long as its brand new in the box.

Has anyone installed the Fog Lights Kit on a 2019-2021 RDX Base or Technology?
I got a good deal on the kit ($438) but, having read the instructions, I have no intention of attempting installation on my own.
The guide says 1.6 hours but, my idiot local dealer lists them for $653; $1,153 installed.
If you had this kit installed, how much did you have to pay?
TIA for responders.
