Video: Acura SH-AWD vs Honda i-VTM4
Here's an interesting video comparing Torque Vectoring Systems on the Acura MDX SH-AWD vs Honda Pilot i-VTM4. Although both system are mechanically very similiar the Acura is tuned for more aggressive and sporty driving.
In this video he uses a 2019 MDX A-Spec, kind of wish he tested with a MDX Sport Hybrid. I bet the Sport Hybrid would perform even better due the electric motors to provide instant torque to rear wheels.
Kinda want to take our MDX up the mountain now to play in the snow!

I like the updated YouTube on latest gen sh-awd and i-VTM4. Very reliable system with only M.I.D. transfer case and rear diff fluid changes with my 08 RDX (+158,000) and 11 MDX (+123,000). Sh-awd has the added benefit of improved handling in all road conditions at any speed. Sh-awd makes my RDX and MDX drive and handle like a smaller and lighter vehicle.

Yeah, I hope our '17 MDX will last a very long time. We usually keep our cars for a decade or more.
Just did rear diff change at 10K miles - $99 at our local Acura dealer, not too shabby.
Kinda early for a rear diff change, but service tech said that's normal interval for Acura with SH-AWD.
Next change is not due until around 30K.
