Very slow 2015 MDX navigation

Is anyone else having the same problem with their 15 MDX? The Navigation is incredibly slow. I have to wait several seconds before the screens will change.

If so, was anyone able to get this resolved?

Thinking of leasing another MDX but not sure if this has been resolved.

My 15 MDX NAV is slow too, got me heated sometimes. The slowest Nav I've seen, way slower than my 03 lexus GS. Acura knew this but wouldn't do a thing.

I am very surprised the issue is so wide spread and Acura has done nothing to resolve.

Does anyone know if they've solved this issue with the 17 MDX?

its resolved with the 17 MDX. Same problem existed in the RLX 2014. I believe 2016 RLX had new hardware. No fix as it is undersized hardware processor for the job

Thanks for letting me know. Don't want to deal with that issue again.

I understand it's been fixed in the 17 MDX. However, I'm really surprised that Acura did nothing to resolve. Fortunately, my lease ends in a month.

OP, does yours have the updated Nav software, TSB B14-037? If not, that may make it a little more livable. We have the update, but honesty don't use it enough to know if it's improved.

We've not had the MDX updated since we originally received the car 3 years ago. At this point with a month left, probably not worth doing that now.

Good to hear this has been resolved though.

Seems like future Acuras will all finally have Android Auto amd Apple Car Play. Crappy nav and paying for map updates will be a thing of the past.

Got the latest software update and it's still slow and lags.
