Service reminders

Bought a pre owned 2014 MDX FWD Advance w Ent in 2014 with 9000 miles. I change the oil (full synthetic), filter and rotate tires as soon as the oil life shows 50%. Apparently this practice screws up the service reminders and I never see them. Old habits die hard. At 25k, I changed air and cabin filter. I just hit 50k and of this 50k, probably 25k at least are highway high speed. Planning to change brake fluid and I’m really at a loss as to whether I should also change coolant (never shows low level), transmission, differential and power steering fluid. Vehicle has no issues and runs very well. Of course the nav and voice control system sucks, but great vehicle despite that. Any advice appreciated.

Trans., Rear Diff, and transfer case for sure.

P/S has no fluid - It's electrical.

Plan to change the coolant when you do the timing belt and water pump around 100K miles.

Thanks very much. So you see no need to change coolant until I hit 100K? Surprised, but as I wrote, I'm still dealing with old habits and probably shouldnt be changing my oil so frequently, either.

AFAIK, drain & fill of coolant is every 5 years or 100k miles, this will replace about half the capacity. Brake fluid flushing(1qt is more than enough) should be done every 3 years, so it's over due.

I just bought 2015 with 87,000, did all the said fluid swap. The ATF looked original, did 3x 4qt drain and fill. Make sure you use correct Honda fluid for T-case(HGO 1) and rear diff(DPSF). Brake fluid flushing with Motive bleeder made it a bit easier. Not sure when to replace ATF filter, but I did replace mine after third 4qts of ATF drain and fill.
