RejeX Application

Shine close up!!

Have always hand-washed my cars and although the MDX is a bit harder than my previous 3 series, washed her this morning. I was looking for a good “wax” type product (have used Walmart available green Turtle Wax before) to finish off the hand wash and stumbled upon Rejex. Got a bottle after some research and wow am I loving this product. Applied a coat of this “white paste” and very pleased with the results. This will make the paint hydrophobic and easier to clean off bugs and road crud. Lasts 6 months but we will see about that.

Attached pics of the job !!

Nice work! I applied RejeX on our MDX after first week of ownership. It's been about a month now, so far so good. Water beading really well. Love how bugs don't stick to the car. Just a blast of the pressure washer, most things comes right off. Car washes are super easy. I put RejeX on all my 3 cars. Great product!

Thanks, good to hear it’s effective. I think you had mentioned RejeX before and had read your post in my looking.

Just washed my 4runner now, 5th wash since applying RejeX. Water still beading good. I applied it to my glass and windshield too, water just slides right off. And absolutely no water spots even if I wash in direct sunlight. And my paint is dark. Usually see water spots if I don't dry it quickly. Love this stuff!

Did you compare to or consider a ceramic coating like Opticoat? I know Opticoat is not designed for DIY, but it lasts much longer.
That said, your job looks great!

Major disadvantage of Opti-Coat is the cost. A bottle of RejeX costs me $25 on Amazon and a few hours of my time. I rather apply RejeX every few months myself then spending hundreds on a pro. Plus I enjoy car detailing, kind of a hobby for me. I take pride in making my cars shine.

Where did you get your running boards? Did you install yourself?

I use rejex also. and I found nothing that shines better for about 2 to 3 months. Then, I gotta do it again
