performed TSB at Niello Acura

So my car is a certified pre-owned and still in the CPO 12month 10k warranty period. had a list of TSBs associated with the 2014 MDX and brought it in for it to all be addressed: steering groan from reverse to drive, transmission judder, whirring noise after engine was warmed up (turned out to be fuel pump), navi screen reverse track flickers. all the TSBs I had mentioned were done without cost, which is what I had expected. However, the service rep had told me that software updates and replacing wearable parts are not part of the CPO warranty and only applied to new car warranty. is that true? they updated and changed the trans fluid per the TSB instruction and wrote in the note: free of charge as show of good faith to customer. i thought CPO warranty is same as new car warranty till it expires. I wonder if my future TSBs will be honored... hearing a click/pop on the left rear when turning poss. the damper mounts.

Wear items aren't part of the basic warranty either UNLESS they need to be replaced because of a warranty issue. Software updates depend on the TSB.

Each TSB indicates how the dealership will bill the repair, but if they do the TSB for nothing - and the trans fluid is part of that TSB - then they bill Acura for it and it gets reimbursed.

Unless you like the dealer, then call Acura and complain. If you like the dealer, then have a talk with the service manager and GM.
