MDX won't display my text messages nor alert me to new texts.

I can't get my 2014 MDX to read my text messages. When I touch the sms/mms icon in the Select Account menu nothing happens.

Has it ever worked? What type of phone is it? Sometimes deleting the phone and re-pairing will fix any issues you're having.
