I have a 2016 MDX and the Pandora integration has multiple problems. I have Pandora Premium running on an up to date Iphone 7.
-Randomly lose the ability to skip tracks. Car will return "unable to skip"
-Frequent connection loss or Pandora reconnects
-Station List shows empty

Is anyone else having these issues? I'd revert to using Pandora via Bluetooth instead of the app but my phone goes into "accessory mode" and I lose the ability to control the music.

I'm wondering if my car needs some software update. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Fortunately my Pandora works pretty good, it's the Acura Streams app with Aha radio gateway that seems to be very buggy. It drops offline when I still have bars. The Pandora hangs in there when Aha drops off, and the other apps inside Aha are worthless! Anybody have a fix to working with Aha?

Pandora is goofy. Here is an example - my Onyko receiver has Pandora. It has worked mostly flawlessly for years. Two days ago QuickMix (Shuffle) quit. All the stations work but mix doesn't. Server cannot be contacted.... . When Sirius bought XM we found that our problems with XM went ballistic so we eventually dropped Sirius - programming, things would quit working that were tied to XM like NAV etc. When Sirius bought Pandora I told my other half, well there goes Pandora. So when I get goofy behavior from Pandora lately it is only because in my opinion the Sirius people have their fingers in it trying to make changes to make more money. If I was a gambling man I'd say put money that it will only get worse.

Tried AHA today. That wasted two hours. Aha would not let Acura Streaming service install so I removed Aha. Then the Acura Streaming service installed but all it did was keep taking over my phone, popping up even when closed saying please add a Facebook account. I could not get rid of the popup and I don't want a Facebook account so it can try to brain wash me to its political position, so I deleted the app, and decided to get rid of the Acura MDX for something else. We live in a brave new era where the snakeoil salespeople have taken over the world.

Most of the issues have to do with the way Pandora was updated in the last few months. I'm not sure there is any resolution (yet). Android users actually had more issues prior to these updates and now it is better (for Android). Pandora now induces a disconnect and reconnect during a skip operation to "refresh" the data sent, so most of the issues with incorrect title data, empty station list and all that kind of went away. I'm not sure the iOS variant has received equivalent fixes yet. I usually switch my time between Spotify and Pandora based on whatever works better with my cars.
