How can I quickly shift from neutral to drive?

When I go through a car wash I have to place my 2017 MDX Advance into neutral.

When my auto gets rolled out of the car wash some times there is a following car
that is fairly close and I want to shift into drive QUICKLY.

Is it possible to shift into drive while the car is still rolling?
I don't want to have to come to a complete stop.

Any suggestions?

I've been in the same position. Sometimes it looks like the car behind is just a few feet away and it makes for a nervous few moments.

The MDX seems to require the brake pedal is depressed when switching into Drive. In these situations I simultaneously stab the brakes and the D button as quickly as possible, so that the time spend stopped is kept to a minimum. So far it's worked out fine.

I just read that you go through a car wash? I just spit up blood! Just kidding. Not everyone is as much of a nut job as I am about taking care of our cars at the eccentric level I take it to. My vehicles will never see a car wash, nor have anyone else wash them by hand other than me.
