Got myself some new shoes on my 2016 MDX

I was finally able to clean my '16 MDX and post pictures of it with the new 22's XO Luxury. Forced balanced. Clean look and the ride is amazing!

Let me know your thoughts!

Looks very nice and fill up the gap nicely too! For some reason having the running board makes it looks lowered a bit.

Nicely done!

The part that they fill the gap is what I like the most... I was thinking about replacing the boards with the '17 boards instead, but then it might need to be lowered which I won't do so it might have to stay as is.

Very clean! What are the wheel n tire specs? The "change my wheels bug" has a hold of me even though my 15' MDX is the wifes lol

Wheel design looks really good!
However, I personally would never put anything bigger than 20"on a car like this as roadholding and cornering will surely suffer due to the enormously increased wheel weight and the low tires being way too stiff..

Nice. Hope those winter roads in NOVA don't get to those wheels in a few months! I've seen some mean potholes on Route 28 around Dulles in the wintertime!!! Hopefully you don't have to frequent that area much.

I actually kept my OEM set and Michelin tires with since my MDX only had 7k miles when I did the swap so they are literally brand new and I'm planning on doing the swap pretty soon to be ahead of the winter. I work in DC and commute almost every day so far the wheels and tires have held up extremely well, not a single scratch or dents on the wheels. I maintain my car extremely clean and always garage kept so they still look brand new.

I actually love having the 22's on my MDX, the cornering and handling are way better than with the OEM set up, the tires are wider and they grip the pavement extremely well. The only thing I chose to do my a road force balancing where they apply a car load weight to the tires while balancing them on the machine and computer. They make a huge difference and you can't even feel you are riding on 22's. I still have the new 19' OEM set with the Michellins for the winter. However, these Yokohama Parada Spec-X are amazing during wet conditions. I have the same tires on my FX50 and my Jeep GC SRT.

The ride quality is amazing. I have taken it in long road trips and can't feel the difference much. I choose to have the tires road force balanced which make a huge difference. Also, the Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires make the ride way nicer. It is indeed bumpier sometimes on rougher pavement, more than your OEM set up since the tires are wider but thinner. I was weary at the beginning too, but once I put them on, I don't regret it one bit and won't be going back to OEM or to 20's. The 20's don't make any difference on the look from the OEM 19's. There are wayyy to many MDXs out there and in order to stand out you must put new wheels and 22's are the perfect fit for the MDX and keep the nice clean classy look.

Any chance you can post a pic of your rear bumper? I’m trying to see if I want to get that chrome trim piece by the fake exhausts.

Hey was wondering what model are these rims and how much did it cost you for rims and tires and from where?

The rims are the XO Luxury 22" - Tokyo Silver with brushed face. The tires are yokohama Parada Spec-X 265/40/R22. Wheels were from CARID and the tires were from TIRERACK. I had them mounted, road forced balanced, added new sensors/programming, stem valves, plus new wheel lugs and O-rings at a specialty shop near my house. All in was close to $3,700. The Acura dealership around my area charges $5,500+ for the same set up.

Thanks! I'm actually a neat freak so that wasn't too organized for me.. lol. I'm actually adding an epoxy paint on the flloors and finishing up the walls even more, plus I have added new LED lights so it looks like a finished room instead of a garage. lol.
