Happy to be back in the Acura brand - Haven't owned one since 2008

'14 MDX with Advance / Entertainment package. Wife is pumped. Huge upgrade from the '99 Tacoma 5MT she drove around for 3 years ... I'll post more pictures tomorrow

I drove it for 30 min this morning and my only complaint is the 6AT seems a bit busy - mainly unnecessarily downshifting in the 20-30mph range. Otherwise, transmission shifts pretty smooth.

Overall, happy with the purchase, I'll post more pictures this afternoon .. may want to explore getting roof racks.

Nice pick-up! I love the Adv model with the cooled seats. The only pain in the butt is the roof crossbars don't adjust. Might have to look for a roof box that will fit the +14 MDX roof rails if you go OEM.

Few more pictures from yesterday.

I wiped down the leather and the car really does clean up like new.

My cure for the busy shifting is to shift to S mode and keep the trans in "3" up to 35 MPH and "4" above that. This also boosts the A/C cooling or heater output depending on season.

ha ha! at those without a knob! it drove me nuts at first when i got into the new MDX loaners! but after watching the youtube video of the MDX review by everydaydriver, it made sense that you can feel the different selector with your hand alone. looking sharp there fellow 14 MDX. I would recommend testing the car out a bunch and maybe see if you can get the TSB for the transmission while you can. especially if you think its shifting weird. I had a bunch of TSBs done including the trans software, display software (if your reverse guidance flickers between yellow and orange lines). best of luck with your new purchase!
