After seemingly months of hearing a faint whistling sound from somewhere in the front passenger side of the vehicle, today I noticed a long crack coming from the very lower base of the windshield up to nearly the center of the glass. It must have spread rapidly with the cold weather and we just didn't notice it before. Has anyone ever taken a vehicle back, successfully made the case that the glass is defective, and had it replaced under warranty? There does not appear to be any damage from a rock or any road debris. It's definitely something defective.
