A coin (possibly) stuck in CD player ....

hi folks!
long story short, I suspect my lil one accidentally inserted a coin into the CD player... too little to admit , so possibly it's smth else maybe a malfunction ... but none of the CDs play, once inserted the cd would spin up inside (pretty loud) and eventually screen would show bad disk and eject it. Tried a few known good cds.
Also, I can be listening radio or via phone and system would switch to cd saying checking disk and error out as well, even though there is no disk inside, almost like smth is tripping the sensor inside making system think there is a disk being inserted or already inside. Note that while inserting or ejecting the disk there is no abnormal sound as if it would be scraping against smth.
Any tips as to how to proceed?
anyone tried to remove the CD player? Or have instructions ?
as always appreciate any feedback from fellow members!
oh it's 2015 mdx

It is possible that your Automobile Insurance will cover it under comprehensive coverage. You will probably have a deductible.

As already stated, warranty does not apply.

You can access service info for a ten dollar a day fee here:

I highly recommend that you also purchase a removal kit. It is very easy to damage the dash and trim without them. (So I am told
