Black Center Cap Question

Hi All,

I drive a 2014 MDX (Elite package in Canada) and have the OEM 19 inch wheels.
I just powder coated the wheels gloss black and was wondering if gloss black center caps from a newer MDX (Eg. 2018) or other models would be a direct fit for the older wheels...

Would rather put factory painted center caps on but if there are no options I will simply paint the existing ones.

Any input appreciated, thanks

Be the innovator. Be the pioneer.
because it's likely no one has ever done what you are asking...so buy 1 center cap for an ungodly amount and test fit. center caps are plastic and you can heat up the prongs and shape them if that's what's impeding fitment.

Will let you know what the answer is if I end up going that route.

Did you find black center caps or did you paint? The OEM 20" Berlina rim do have black center caps with chrome Acura symbol: but, they are around $30-$35 each. Not 100% sure if the 14-16 MDX center caps are interchangeable with +17 MDXs since they changed the bolt pattern?

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciation
Have not had time to complete the job. Did try Plasti Dip but could not get a finish I am happy with (I am a little OCD )
Will update when completed....

I also did a chrome delete with Plastic dip along with black lugs, badge delete, and red painted calipers on my fathom blue pearl MDX. I like the look of the chrome LED headlights with the floating Acura symbol on the grill. The dark colored MDX looks real sinister to on-coming traffic during the day with the chrome delete

the all black looks like an old tin lizzy. Henry Ford loved that color. You could buy a model T any color as long as it was black. I know some of you love the all black cars but wow, take an art class or something to be more creative.

Agree!
My chrome delete completed using gloss black wrap.

LOL. Where I am from every other MDX is black with the chrome accents. Did the chrome delete to differentiate my vehicle from the flock....
Guessing you can't get your head around monochromatic architecture/photography/art
