Best price for cargo cover?

Hi everyone,

We just bought a CPO 2015 MDX Tech SH-AWD, and noticed it doesn’t come with a cargo cover. Anyone have a recommendation on where to purchase one for a decent price?

Delray Acura (acuraoemparts.com) sells the Cargo Cover (part number 08U35-TZ5-210) for $205.19. Politely speak with your local parts counter and let them know you really want the cargo cover, and that is the price you can get it for... But you'd be happy to give the business to the local dealer if they'd price match. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't... If they do, then enjoy your new cover. If they don't, then walk away and order it from Delray.

Did your dealer give you any coupons with your purchase? For example, when I bought my 2017 the dealer gave me a "25% off accessories" coupon.

Unfortunately not, but that's a good idea to try at the parts counter next time I stop by. I was surprised it didn't come with one, but easy enough to resolve I suppose. The MDX will be my wife's vehicle but it's nice to be back in the Acura family. I had a TL SH-AWD previously and other than the ugly looks, I really enjoyed driving that car. Hopefully the MDX is also a nice, reliable ride.

Kinda piss that Acura didn't include cargo cover on our $58K MDX Sport Hybrid Tech! My cheaper Toyota 4runner came with cargo cover, running board, and roof racks as standard equipment. I know it's different class of SUVs but c'on Acura 😡. Stepping up to the Advanced model gets us these option but at thousands more. Not worth it.

1. I'm glad Acura doesn't include junk like a cargo cover. I'd remove it and have to find room in my garage/attic to store it... So why add cost to the vehicle when not everyone even wants it?

2. The Advance model does not include cargo cover, running boards, or roof rack crossbars -- those remain accessories.

I purchased a cargo cover and it is still sitting in my garage. At least on the '18 model it takes a little installation which included drilling. I didn't know that prior to purchasing. After reviewing the install instructions, I thought that effort was best left to the pro's. Have yet to inquire about getting it installed. It isn't a must have in my opinion. So no rush.

I can totally see why some people wouldn't want to have one, it's just a matter of preference. Ours seemingly had one at some point, since I can see where it was installed and later removed. And my wife would simply prefer to have one to safely store items out of plain view when we go shopping. I'll try the idea of getting my local parts department to price match, and if not, I'll order from Delray Acura. Thanks for the suggestion.

The Mrs. says it is a must have. We purchased the vehicle in April and the cover was purchased from Delray shortly thereafter. Been sitting in the garage in the packaging ever since.

Cargo liner as in the carpet for trunk, I dont know if aries still makes them

Check here - photos of my aries, it was only 71 when I bought it. There is a nicer cargo liner which I didn't see at the time, posted by McDavis
