ACC question
Does anybody know if the brake lights activate when the adaptive cruise control is actively slowing the vehicle? I talking about when you can really feel the abrupt braking in some cases.

In diesel-powered vehicles, the brake lights are required to illuminate when the Jake- or exhaust-brakes engage. Surely the same is true for collision mitigation braking.

The rear brake lights activates when the CMBS is used to slow down the MDX when the ACC is being used. No brakes lights with the just the throttle is disengaged when using ACC. Pretty much the same situation with and without rear brakes lights if you drove without ACC.
