Just traded my 16 MDX Advance on the new 19 MDX Sport Hybrid Advance last week and I'm really loving it. Really hard to compare the 2 because the new one feels so much better in almost every way.
One question though ... I am aware the AC compressor on this vehicle is electric. Mine produces a very noticeable whine when standing outside the vehicle with the AC on. When I turn off the AC it stops. It's most notable when the ICE is off and just running on battery. Does anyone else that has one - do this too? Normal?

I haven't noticed a whine while the AC on, the only whine that comes to mind is when the engine shuts off and the car is running on the batteries alone. Bump for a answer

Took it to the dealer and they said it's a hybrid noise and is operating as designed.
