2014 MDX Help with door Mirror replacement
Hi All;
My name is Tom and I have a 14 MDX. I am in New England. (Ma) You guys have a great resource here and I am happy to be a part of it.
My Problem---Wife was shopping and came out and the passenger side door mirror was busted off.
I have a new mirror assembly. I know it is held on by three bolts. (and a wire harness for electronics). I also have trim and clip tools and am pretty mechanical. But- Do I need to take off the whole door panel to replace? If someone could walk me thru the replacement I would appreciate it. I would need instructions on where clips were and how to remove. I found some posts here but not for my application.
I would appreciate all information given. I don't want to be breaking plastic stuff....arrgghh. And GO ACURA!!!!
Thanks very much.
Tom.

I worked on all Acura TLs & 2012 MDX where I had to remove door panels. Typically panels held by 3 screws and about 12 plastic clips around perimeter. Don't be afraid of breaking clips but make sure to locate screws. One screw located where main door handle, second behind door opener, third you need to locate yourself.
