What was the cost of that, or was it DIY? Would love to see a pic.

I very much agree, but since I am a new user, I am not allowed to post pics. If you have a way to get me permissions to post pics, I will be VERY HAPPY to post them.

I am going to add on the roof racks. What is everyone paying for them? My dealer said around $27 extra a month on the lease. That seems like highway robbery.

Are you referring to the crossbars or roof rails and crossbars? Only the Advance model comes with the roof rails already and all you need is to add in the crossbars. All other models have nothing installed on the roof. I have been quoted $298.50 for crossbars and installation. Roof rails and crossbars is at $1,156.50 including installation.

I'm also thinking about adding:
Led Fogs
Sport side steps
5000 lb Tow Setup
Wood Shifter

I bought some good looking valve stem caps off ebay and the finish matches the wheels (atleast in the garage)

Alex, while I still don't have permission to post pictures, I will try to figure out a way to work around this today. Seeing is believing. I had it done by my dealer, but I was the one who did the "design" (found the right LED lights, figured what will work and fit, and identified the location). The dealership knows me so they were willing to work with me to install.

Some like the Advance running boards while some prefer the Sport Step ones. I got the Advance running boards. Check them out below. Alexsphoto said that he will upload photos of his Sport Step running boards after installation. You can decide after seeing both which one you prefer.

Thumbs up

I have been getting requests to show the picture of the installed LED DRL strips installed on the 2014 MDX.

These are not the best pictures as they were taken in the bright sunlight with a phone camera.

I will take better pictures later. I will also take them at night

Not bad... but i was really hoping you setup resembled something like the MDX prototype. I think the prototype has the best set fogs i've seen to date.

We will be getting the advanced running boards ... Can't decide whether to get the splash guards or not merely based on looks. On one hand fear it may look better with the splash guard in front of the leading part of the running boards but thinking it might have a cleaner, more sporty look without them. Thoughts?

A simple question: Can I DIY for "REAR STEP BOARDS"? Anyone who did it? I'm not a DIY person, but the instruction seems pretty straightforward. No drilling. At least, I could save $100 or so for installation fee!

Folding Cargo Tray - Watch out

Yesterday I had the roof rails installed on my 2014 Navi in Canada. I also purchased the folding cargo tray. The watch out part came with the cargo tray where the dealership tried to charge me for installation. It was only $12 but installation? Really? All they do is plop it in the back. Just wanted to give anyone looking for the cargo tray the heads up.

The dealers usually give this item for free, including the all-weather mats. If they don't give them for free, just buy them online, where prices are usually 20-25% off from MSRP.

Got the all weather mats for free, just not the cargo tray. I didn't mind paying for it. Got it for 15% off and since I was getting some other stuff installed, good timing. I was just WAY put off by the 'installation' charge.

What I've done in the past is find an online store that has these same OEM parts/accessories that are cheaper then what the dealer is offering. Take printouts with you to the dealer and ask them to honor that price. Its worked with the 2 previous Acura dealers I've worked with.
