15 MDX front struts and brakes replacement.

Hi guys, 2015 MDX SHAWD and I am about to replace my front struts due to 1 is leaking oil per the dealer. Has anyone ever done this before and give me some tips/advices? Do I have to replace the stabilizers, do the bolts have to be replace. So far, I only have the front left and right struts awaiting to be purchased.

For the brake rotors and pad, do you recommend buying OEM or something from Ebay or Amazon will do?

Thank you.

I would avoid buying brakes on eBay. You never know what kind of metal is used on the brakes. Probably pure shit.

if needing struts anyways, buy a coilover set up instead?

Time for full on suspension. Stoptech brakes rotors, Akebono pads, Brembo calipers, coilovers, RSB abd maybe stainless steel braded brake lines for more punch!

Are we taking it this far?!?!?!?

There are many places that sell everything you need. Let the internet be your friend. What you do is largely based on your budget. Calipers? Naw. Discs? Only if yours are warped of gouged. Pads? Again whats your budget and driving style. Struts? Easy to change IF your mechanically inclined and have the proper tools. At a minimum you need a set of spring compressors.

Rockauto alone has probably 50 each different grades and prices of pads and discs foe your car. I did not though see any struts. But Im sure a bit of sweb searching you can find dozens of offerings

Have you replaced the struts?
I'm supposed to have "gas pressurized shock absorbers (per the VIN decoder)" and "MacPherson strut front suspension (original sticker)". I see some oil leaking from front right shock, not sure if it's also oil filled? Someone please help.
