‘17-18 MDX Bumper Garnish Upgrade (Non-Hybrid)
Upon looking and searching, I finally purchased the front and rear bumper garnish. For the ‘17-18 MDX Base/Tech/Adv. non of the lower front and rear bumper piece came none painted (only Hybrid). I shopped around multiple body shop to ask if they can paint the lower garnish, prices range from $300-400. I did not get them painted as they offer no warranty on paint chipping due to the texture of the garnish panel is rough. They suggested to sand it down to smooth it out and apply paint promoter but it comes to No Warranty. I decided to buy the pieces from my local dealership to save on shipping charges. Personally, I think it looks a lot cleaner and it flows well with the body appearance (looks can be subjective).

I kinda like the contrast myself.

My local dealership helped me out and I paid $550 for both. Just couldn’t justify spending $400 to get them painted outside and no warranty for the paint if it’s started to peel or crack. Wife really wanted the Hybrid at first but unable to negotiate on pricing, also the WDP and Espresso color combo is hard to get in Hybrid model.

Can this work for a 2014 Acura MDX? I'm trying to upgrade mine.
