Would you buy a Used 2014 MDX?

Thinking of upgrading to a larger SUV for the kids, would you consider a 2014 MDX fwd with advance and entertainment package with 45k miles for around 25k? I live in Florida so AWD is not a necessity. Looking for something dependable that can be driven for about 4-5 years before upgrading. Any major reliability or service concerns?

No. SH-AWD is much more than handling weather. Even in the driest conditions I would not want to give up my SH-AWD.

I owned a 14 MDX. It was the first year of the generation. Tons of TSB's and tweaks, as I was the "BETA tester". I just got rid of it earlier this year. The infotainment system was very slow and had issues syncing with my I phone as I updated IOS versions. If you don't care about the technology, and the TSB's have been performed...you should be ok. But, I was very frustrated with the system. My wife leased a 15 MDX which we don't have anymore. The 15's system was better.

I still have my 14 MDX that we bought new in Sep 13 right when it came out. I agree with Stu that the clunky, painfully slow infotainment system is my #1 gripe with the vehicle. But if you can get past that, it's a solid choice.
