Windshield Washer Pump Replacement
Hello Folks. Longtime Acura TL owner here. I picked up a 2014 MDX about 2 years ago. Overall it's been a solid car.
My windshield washer is leaking when I engage the pump. I'm assuming it is a pump issue because it is not leaking fluid until I pull the lever to wash the windshield. Has anyone else had to replace theirs? Is it fairly straight forward? Any instructions will be helpful.
Thanks.

Figured it out.
The pump was good. So were the nozzles. The plastic supply line from the pump to the split was broken around the hinge of the hood. It was difficult to figure out at first because when the hood was open the tube was mostly closed and it did not leak as much. When the hood was closed it leaked a lot.
I cut out the bad section and used a 1/4 inch ID tube to bridge the 2 sections. Secured it with small hose clamps. I don't expect it will leak but chances are somewhere else may start leaking. The part is less than $20 so I ordered new ones. I also ordered new nozzles. Unfortunately removing those to clean them were not easy and the stem broke. The Amazon ones were shit. $32 for OEM. May as well swap those too.
