Weekend project - Red Callipers!
Decided to finally take the jump and do something I’ve wanted to try for a while now! I like how it turned out!
I’d take a photo of the whole vehicle except that it’s pouring rain today and I’d rather leave it in the garage!

It’s a nice sunny day today so I decided to take a photo of the whole vehicle with the brakes finished. I really like the little bit of colour that pops with it! Quite pleased with the results.

I had my calipers painted last week red. Also added black lug nuts and red Acura valve stem caps. I just blacked out all the chrome with Plastic Dip on my 19 MDX sh-sh-awd Adv.

What product did you use? Brush or spray? Did you do them in place or remove for painting?
Look great BTW. I am gonna do mine in black.

I've used G2 high temp, high gloss brake caliper paint, Amazon, $55:
This is my forth time using this paint for calipers. Back in 2014, I did my 06 TSX (black) and 08 RDX (black), and my 11 MDX (Red). The paint has help up pretty well other than the usual brake dust build up in hard to clean places. I found a wheel/tire shop in town to paint the calipers for $60 and they took off the calipers to clean and paint in one day.
