VViViD Black Gloss 5ft x 3ft Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air Release Technology 2FTX5FT 1 roll
VViViD High Gloss Black Carbon Fiber Tech Art 2ft x 5ft 3 layer 3D 5ftX3FT 1 roll

I am going to post few before pictures first followed by few DIY pictures and then to the glory (well for me atleast ). Here you go.

Used Painter tape to make a draft, then used it to cut the wrap.
Once rough shape is on, then used a very sharp cutting tool to cut the vinyl.

I like it! The MDX looks so much better with the blacked out chrome and dark rims. I would even consider painting the calipers black and blacking out the roof rails, chrome window trim, and side steps chrome section. The blacked out look would look even better with other MDX colors.

I think it gives a character to rather bland looks for me specially back. After about two years of ownership something new to look at. Also the satisfaction you get after successfully completing the project everytime you look at it..
Not to brag about it...but here is a link of what people are thinking about my project https://www.facebook.com/groups/167997356729940/permalink/821525424710460/

Very clean job. Did you paint it or it that a wrap?
I also wanted to chrome delete around tail lights but Vinyl wrap may melt off due to the heat coming off tail pipes so did not cover it with wrap. May be I will get them powder coated.
What did you do to your head lights? they look tinted? what did you use. I am worried to do it to my car thinking it may not be legal.

For the headlights- you need to remove them from the car, bake them in the oven at a fairly low/constant temperature until the butyl tape seal softens, then you pull the clear headlight lens off and paint the inside of the headlight. You should also remove as much of the old butyl seal as possible, and replace it with new stuff (available from the retrofit source, online) to ensure you're not getting moisture in there. Careful not to get butyl on the headlight clear lens... it's not easy to remove!

You can use tint film to tint your headlights. Ive used ViViD and lamin-x tint films before. Lamin-x is way better.
Not sure about the legality but if you don't go too dark im sure cops wont even notice the difference.

It sounds scary, but it's not. I wouldn't be doing it on a brand new vehicle though, just in case you do screw up- in a few years you'll be able to source used lights for much less money.
That being said, once you do one, you realize there isn't much to be afraid of. Everyone has different theories on what temperature to use and for how long, but keep in mind it is just to soften the butyl... low temp, 265F for 7 minutes should do the trick. It won't distort anything or damage anything.
I've done it myself a few times, and I know countless people on here have done it also...

People who do this should be drawn and quartered. Same with tinting tail lights. Not only does it look stupid, but it's unsafe.

The inconvenient truth
Other drivers would have to be blind not to see my brake lights. The tint doesn't effect how bright they are at all. If anything they might be more visible due to the added contrast. Before its bright red taillights and bright red brake lights. Now its dark red taillights and bright red brake lights.

Seeing is believing.... I'm just telling you what I see with my own eyes. It looks just as bright to me and the contrast makes the lights stand out more than they otherwise would have. If the lamin-x tint I used does dim the brightness then it is so slightly that it is not perceivable to the human eye.

In my experience, however, I see cars every day with tinted lights that are NOT as bright. And I often see lights that are so severely tinted that the lights are not even visible in daylight.
