New Pedals

Put my new pedals from Ultimate Pedals on. I had these on my '05 TL and loved them. I haven't decided yet whether to put the parking brake one on.

Did this come as a kit? All the pieces are pre cut for the MDX? Including the foot rest?

Yes it comes as a kit and it is specific to the MDX.

I did the same pedals for my RDX and MDX. I also did the black insert grips and parking brake also. The inserts pop in/out very easily, so I use a little bit of super glue to put them back when I knock them out with my feet.

Here is what you MDX might look like with the insert+emergency brake:

Not a fan of the looks, I wonder if any of the Mugen pedals fit. I had a set on my Civic and loved them.

These look similar, but I don't want to drill my pedals.

You can get the pedals in different finishes and with or without grips. I have racing pedals on all three vehicles (with grips) and had zero issues with my foot slipping with rain/snow and they helf up pretty well over the years. (+9 yrs on TSX, +4 yrs on RDX, 1 yr on MDX with racing pedals)

They send you all the nuts/bolts/screws you need to install. I used 2 nuts/bolts in already existing holes on the brake pedal once I removed the rubber pad. I used a drill to do a pilot hole and use screws for the rest. Maybe 30-45 mins total install time.

TSX (not Ultimate Pedals, Old group buy in 2006 on this forum):

Mine have anti-slip coating already on them and I've never had a problem in wet weather.

That looks good. I'm leaning towards putting it on.

I just order new petals with MDX stamp/engraved on them. Is there an issue with installing the foot rest on the floor board? I don't wont it hit any hidden wires under the rubber pad.

The hubby installed them but I don't think he had any problems.
