Have you tried going to www.navtool.com and putting in your car's year, make and model and picking the appropriate system that meets your requirements?

You may want to consult with the guys running Navtool over at mdxers.org. There are some issues that they are having problems getting fixed by the manufacturer. Example: https://www.mdxers.org/forums/94-thi...w-version.html

Yeah. Navtool has had an "F" rating from the BBB like forever.

I think every forum has horror stories about difficult installs, plug and play that isn't really plug and play (unless your definition of plug and play includes splicing wires) and units that fail quickly with lousy customer service.

But wait! They will just create a phony account here to refute your statements and tell you they are 100% MADE IN USA! lol

Has any long time poster here reported a problem free install and reliable operation?

The concept is good - the execution not so much.

I'd wait for GROM VLine to come to our MDX. Today GROM announced beta testing is under way.
VLine is 100x better than any Navtool or mirroring solution. Trust me I have it in my Lexus GS, it's super awesome.

Damn. Won't be back in SF until November. The test is only a month long. There will be a preorder discount though. Not sure how much but their usual units are $600 so this baby is probably going to be $500 still at preorder. Bah. Now I'm tempted to order the 2018 MDX head unit off ebay for $350...

https://gromaudio.com/vline/

It's basically a small Android computer attached to your screens. In all likelihood, they would need to find some way to use the bottom screen for our cars so I'm curious to see how they plan to do that.

They will most likely use the top 8" screen as the bottom screen is used for climate control and other functions that they won't mess with. We will have to use the Dial to move around in GROM interface. Hope they will make steering wheel buttons and microphone integration like they did on my Lexus... it's awesome.
