My 2014 MDX with 19" A-SPEC WHEELS!!

Hey guys -

I just bought some 19" Acura A-SPEC Chrome wheels for my 2014 MDX.

I also bought some after market running boards....they didn't have MDX embedded so I bought the MDX rear emblem which I personally think flows real well (especially with the Chrome accent on the running board).

Would love to see what you guys think?

Love the look of the running boards. I think the badge adds a lot
to the look.

I completely understand....to each their own right? I always enjoy getting feedback (good or bad).

I went with these because I got a great deal on them and didn't have to spend additional $$ on new tires. IMO, I think they are a nice upgrade over the stock wheels.

Nice Look and you can't go wrong with the rims as they are Acura OEM.

Nice setup! I also have the aftermarket running boards and like them. Really helped my wife during her pregnancy.

Will the a spec rims you bought and installed fit a 3rd gen TL? I am trying to figure out if some 3rdgen TL rims will fit my 3rd gen MDX. Bolt pattern seems to be the same, and I hope17" wheels clear the brakes. I want to use them with snow tires.

The 2014 MDX and 3rd Gen TL have the same bolt pattern....these wheels will fit the 3rd GEN TL as long as it's not the Type-S. They won't clear the brembro's on the Type-S, but should fit a regular TL just fine.

I got them from Midwest Wheel and Tire for $500 (which included shipping)....I think this is a steal for 19" Chrome OEM wheels!!

Yup and that included the shipping and handling! You can't beat that price anywhere!

It's nice that the 2014+ MDX is back to Acura's standard 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern. It's my understanding that the TLX is back as well. All is right in the Acura universe.

The running board looks nice and how much is it? I was thinking of getting the OEM Sport Version Running board. If these are cheaper than the Acura one then I might consider this set up.

The running boards pictured are the Advanced Running Boards, I assumed you are already knew about the Sport version of the running boards.

I have a set of these wheels. They are not chrome plated. The finish is a special 3 part paint process: Black base, silver followed by clear coat. Don't use chrome polish on them as the clearcoat scratches easily. I too thought I was getting chrome plated wheels when I ordered them.

Can you post a pic? Curious to see what they look like as I'm thinking about picking up a set of non-chrome wheels.
