Loose rear door trim

My rear door trim (shinny black plastic) is slightly loose when you grab on the edge to close the door. Took it to the dealership and they claim that it's normal - no surprise there. Anyone else? Here's a picture of the trim

Yes, mine is like that too. I hate it. It feels cheap when closing the doors, and I can see some of the insulation between the shiny plastic and the metal, along the outer/rear edge I feel like the body integrity on this vehicle is poor. I have all sorts of issues with the trim.

I don't have the problem but my previous MDX did have a loose trim piece on the roof rack. My recommendation is simple. Show the issue to the dealer, if they refuse to fix it simply order the part and fix it yourself. Those parts are usually just a few bucks on the Acura parts site and simple to pop off and replace. The defect is generally a clip or tab that was damaged at some time during assembly or prep, but once you take delivery it impossible to prove it didn't happen while in your hands.
