I'm in the process of purchasing a used 2018 MDX nav, and there's unfortunately a slight crack in the instrument gauge cluster lens.
I'm told that it's a 8-10 hour job to replace.
I think they're trying to pull the wool over my eyes.

are there instructions somewhere to replace the lens? second, where could I find the part number?

Sounds about right. You need to pull the dash apart to get at it I suspect. Once apart a new piece of Plexiglas should be cheap and easy to find.
now if this is a CPO the dealer should fix it before delivery to you.

Doubt a cracked cluster lens would pass the inspection to qualify for a CPO vehicle. Donn0128 has it correct, if indeed certified, that should be fixed pre-sale.

I actually replaced it on my own, I still couldn't figure out how was it got cracked..anyway, it's not hard, just gently pry off the parts, don't use force.
