I recently noticed that both front doors of my mdx 17 were scratched, and the general scratches were on the outside of the door, but the three were scratched inside the door! I don't know what can cause such scratches, please let me know if someone has a similar experience or know the reason. Please see the attachment for the specific location.

Seat belt caught in the door.

^^^^This plus anything, from a jacket with metal rivets/eyelets or a belt, a bag, a backpack, etc. hitting the body. That paint isn't as thick or tough as we might think it is.

I had the same problem. It was a seat belt getting caught.

Surprised a caught seat belt wouldn't also create an indentation. Maybe it does and it just isn't clearly visible in the pics. Interior scratches are an easy fix with touch-up paint. Much easier than anything on the exterior of the vehicle.
