I've never seen that code before, what car do you have? any maintenance done? can you try resetting the code and see if it comes back?

2 days ago start to showing a emissions system problem and my scanner thrown that code p2096 then showed a second code p0420 but after resetting just showed the p2096 fuel too lean in bank 1.... Idk what mean
And what happen when the Evap goes bad?
My mdx are spending too much gas

Lean fuel could mean injector problem. Best get it to a shop and have it checked out before you burn a piston or worse.

Ok guys problem fixed I had to change de Purge Valve solenoid and then the code get done now I have my acceleration restored and better mpg

Code gone after replace the o2 sensor let see what happen after this week

Guys I'm getting p420
New air filter k&n
Ngk premium iridium spark plug
O2 Bosch
New pipes and muffler
And the code still do I need to try to replace ignition coils before change cat?

Problem solved after replaced all the o2 sensors oem.
No more gas, or emission problems
