saw this article and it says 2016-2020 MDX!! Anybody get their recall letter yet?

Recall letters won't go out till January (once they get the process to analyze wear and parts to do the fixes), but the recall does show up in many places (including my AcuraLink app). My 2019 is in the impacted list (VIN lookup confirmed it at the dealer). I've just sent in a Blackstone Labs sample to get analyzed to see if there's any metal in the oil. MDX has 20k miles, and 3k miles since oil change. I'm guessing that if I don't have any metal in the oil, I may be good to go. But we'll see....

Pretty sure not all 2016-2020 MDXs are affected. My 2017 isn’t part of the recall at all, and its not exhibiting any sign or symptom relating to any engine failure or internal failure. I think it might be related to vehicles built in a different factory that isn’t the Lincoln AL plant.
