Do the rear brake lights come on when ACC downshifts fo maintain speed?
When the ACC is engaged and the vehicle is slowing do the rear brake lights come on? If so at what point. Coming down rather steep hill I can feel the car downshifting quite a bit. At one point a car behind got pretty close like he didn’t know I was slowing.

The rear brake lights only come on when the brakes need to applied to slow the MDX down. No brake lights are activated when ACC is off the gas or the transmission is Hill Logic control downshifting.
