CMBS not functioning properly

CMBS system on. Was able to turn on and off using the CMBS button and confirmed on info display. ACC is working as able to set cruise control and lane assist is controlling lane departure properly as well. Able to ‘see’ distance control between vehicles in the info display and toggle it through all distance and set it. However, the car does not maintain distance and does not brake when set. No brake alert shows as well on display. Any thoughts on fix or adjustment that I can make to get this to work properly again? Is there a reset of the system?

Did have a windshield replaced recently and as far as I know it is basically a plug and play of the windshield camera to the windshield and doesn’t appear to be any obstructions.

I've heard you could have Acurawatch issues if you use non-OEM glass and don't calibrate the upper camera system after replacement.

Is recalibrating something I can do myself from inside? Pop off the camera cover and make adjustments? I’ll check but I’m pretty sure the glass was from ACURA manufacturer, but will confirm OEM.

I don't know what it takes to calibrate Acurawatch systems? I imagine it takes specialized equipment, software, and being in diagnostic mode. It should have been part of the glass service at replacement OR that question that should have been asked before installation? Either the glass replacement folks do the calibration afterwards or they take it to Acura to perform the calibration as part of the replacement procedures.

windshleld camera is NOT repeat NOT a plug and play after a new windshield even an OEM windshield it MUST be recalibrated, When we had our windshield replaced with OE glass the installer who will only install an OE glass (as well as our insurance company insisting on an Acura glass) said the camera must be recalibrated and every one he has done calibration changed from the previous windshield. Our insurance company said they had to many problems with non OE glass not being able to allow calibration of the cameras that they won't cover replacement with a non OE glass.
