Am I asking for too much money?

I posted this on the Marketplace area of the site. Got no response. Do you think I'm asking for too much money? I thought everyone with based wheel/tire pkg wants to upgrade to the 20's......

That is an extremely cheap price. I sold my brand new hybrid Adv rims with zero miles for $750 and +/- $145 ground shipping for each rim depending on zip from NM back in 2019.

not everybody want the 20". Tires will be more expensive and harsher ride, especially on the MDX, where the suspension isn't that good to begin with. plus, $400 extra you're asking for. I've 18" now and will definitely not pay $400 to trade for the 20". Even trade, sure.

You don't need everybody, you just need one person that want the rims. I have 20" rims on my 11 MDX Adv and 19 MDX Adv Hybrid and don't consider the ride harsh at all in sport mode for both vehicles. More controlled and sporty for my driving style. Another option is to sell the rims one at time for those that want to upgrade to a full size spare. I added a full size spare to my 11 MDX and 19 MDX and feel a lot better on 4-12 hour road trips.

I would check out prices of used OEM rims on eBay and web sites for Acura new parts to get a range of prices.

I think the issue may be the "trade" aspect of it. If you have a person looking to do that sort of upgrade, then you'll be successful. But it's gotta hit a specific person's situation - so it could take time. Most of the activity on 20" wheels has been people wanting 4th gen wheels, which have a more "contemporary" look than most of the 3rd gen wheels. In the end, you may need to be flexible on that "swap" price when you find the right person.... Good luck!
