Just purchased a '16 Lexus RX 350. Could not pass up all the advanced tech and features the MDX did not have, including the mind blowing Mark Levinson audio system, which is a true 7.1 surround system. Now I can play all my DVD-A discs again after Acura decided to save a few bucks on the software a few years ago. The MDX was great for the 13 months I owned it, but I'm not getting any younger and it was just time. BTW, I got exactly $43K on the MDX and almost $2K off the sticker of the RX in case anyone else is thinking about jumping ship. I will miss everyone on this forum. Who knows, I might be back again. Time will tell if I can avoid the Grim Reaper for a few more years.

Congratulations OP. I briefly looked at the interior of the new rx350 at a local event and I have to be honest, while the design was nice, I was not very impressed with the quality. They took some steps back.

Otherwise still a VERY nice place to be. I wish you luck and distance from the grim reaper.

I'm considering the same move. However, I'm waiting until 2017 when, purportedly, the RX will add a third row of seating.

If the RX was a bit bigger it would have been a contender for me. However, it wasn't so thus it wasn't on the list.
