Acura MDX Latest software update for Control Unit/Infotaiment

Just got my 14 MDX Tech, I do notice am still on 1.00.2325 software version.

I am looking for help in determining the latest version out there so I can get my dealer to install it.

I am surprised how long it takes to skip to the next song via bluetooth.

Agreed - playing Spotify on the MDX is absolutely hit or miss with the OEM controls, and when it does work its a 2 second delay.

Only way to get consistent results is to navigate directly through my iphone.

Is this the same for everyone else?

That 3 second delay is actually present for all BT interfaces with Honda products using Alpine head units. BT delay is actually something that affects any BT interface, but it is especially bad here. It affects many product lines and a CRV owner was actually the first to investigate it and reported some bad coding resulting in oversized data transfers causing delays. However, Honda decided it wasn't worth fixing and calling Alpine/Acura/Honda infotainment support will pretty much get you the same answer.

And then yes, there is the usual lag in the entire interface, which is just too much for the hardware to handle. They optimized and updated the hardware for the 2018 TLX, so that's the earliest anyone will be able to experience the "fixed" interface.
