Few posts on this over at MDXers but none of the threads were helpful. Bought a used 2018 MDX base SH-AWD (not tech/advance/aspec) the other day.. less than 24k miles on it.. Everything is working great but the "SET" and "1" and "2" buttons for the Driver Memory Position System.. I am able to adjust the seats manually as well as the mirrors. Both key fobs are recognized as proper Driver 1 and Driver 2 when used (replaced both batteries, re-linked both fobs).. Going to "Vehicle Settings" - I do not have the "Driving Position Setup" sub menu, assuming because I have the base model. Checked all fuses manually, nothing blown.. Basically the "SET", "1" and "2" buttons do nothing when pressed or held. No lights on those buttons lighting up and no beeps.. Mirrors do not tilt down when car is placed in reverse, but I am able to adjust them using the mirror adjust buttons. When entering/exiting the car the seats and steering wheel do not move automatically like they're supposed to, just stay in place. Completely driving me up the wall.. Last resort is a dealer visit (dreading this, need to leave the car for the entire day!), posting here to see if anyone has had a similar issue or has any ideas of what else I can check before taking it in..

If the led on the set, 1 and 2 buttons aren't lighting up when pressed then it maybe a loose wire or bad wiring. It's a 2018 so your warranty should cover the repairs, take it in and try to ask for a loaner for the day.

actually figured it out I think. My passenger mirror housing is broken. Only found out while trying to fold/unfold the mirror this morning. Probably the actuator which would affect the entire system. The seats are connected to that same wiring or chip or whatnot. Replacement on the way. We’ll see what happens
