2017 MDX B1 service
Hi,
My 2017 MDX Advanced Panel is notifying me of B1 service with about 30K miles. It looks like oil change + tire rotation + advanced inspection. Planning to take it to dealer and want to be cautious of them over selling additional service options to me. What should be mindful of and mandatory ones that to be covered (like transmission fluid, brake fluid etc.). Please advice.
Thanks,
GS

If it hasn't been done yet, they might suggest:
- cabin air filter (every 1-3 years depends on dirt/dust/pollen in your area, DIY for around $12-$20)
- engine air filter (usually around the 30,000 mark, DIY for around $35)
- brake fluid exchange (should be done every 3-4 years)
- wipers (as needed)
- 9AT service (usually not until +50,000 miles)
- rear diff service if you have sh-awd (usually at 15,000 miles and every 30,000 miles after that)
- fuel injector service (not needed)
Don't forget to check your spare tire if you have sh-awd.

Thank you. Also, the nozzle recently started getting stuck in capless gas filling system and tough to pull out. I will ask the service person however wonder if anyone has run into this kind of issue ?
Thanks,
GS
