2015 MDX Trans fluid replace or flush?
Acura Dealer service dept. says do not flush transmission, only do drain and refill. Flush will void warranty. Reason: he has had transmissions come in ruined because of flush. My professional says Acura is full of crap. At 30k he advises do the flush. Any opinions out there as to who is right?

a flush involves a pump, which forces fluid backwards which can dislodge debris which could block passage ways.... and has happened before and why Honda tells us to do a simple drain and fill
a drain and fill is simply draining the fluid and refilling it...smaller chances of things going wrong

you're welcome!
some find that they can flush with a pump no problem!
others try and result in a bad transmission.
I liked how I phrased it, with a simple drain and fill, there's less chances of things going wrong!

Honda/Acura have been against flush systems officially since the 1980's. Most flush systems use a generic fluid, which is not approved and does not meet the special specifications needed in Honda-Designed transmissions. Most transmissions that use Dexron/Mercon spec. fluid are OK with flush systems.

Been draining and filling since 99 (accord/tsx/mdx (now)) No failures.. first 2 car went 150k before trading in. I just looked at my rav4 (sealed at) nightmare.. its crazy insane.
Lookd pretty standard on mdx, drain and fill from top
